Recently, Largo Medical Center-Indian Rocks Physicians, Directors, and Clinicians gathered to celebrate the Center of Distinction Award, which was given to the hospital’s Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in recognition of its high patient satisfaction rates, exceptional healing results, and outstanding clinical outcomes over the past twelve months. This prestigious honor was awarded by the Center’s partner in wound healing, Diversified Clinical Services (DCS).

DCS Founder, Mr. Jim Henry, travelled from headquarters (Jacksonville) to present the award in person. Since the Center’s opening in 1998, the Wound Care Center and Hyperbaric Medicine at Largo Medical Center-Indian Rocks has achieved success in treating and curing chronic or non-healing wounds and providing excellent care to over 2,500 patients.

Ricky Satcher, CEO of Largo Medical Center, commented on the award, “DCS brings our hospital’s Wound Care Center enormous resources and expertise, enabling us to meet the increasing need for specialized wound care. We are thrilled to accept this award, and proud to offer this quality Center to our community.”

Jennifer Beale, Program Director for Largo Medical Center-Indian Rocks further commented, “It is a pleasure to work with so many professionals that are committed to providing outstanding healing rates (94%) in a short period of time (Days to heal =21), with excellent patient satisfaction (97.2%). Our goal is to continue to achieve and work towards exceeding these outcomes, as well as ensure we are ‘healing wounds and changing our patients’ lives every day.’”
